The snow has stopped.. we got 5-6 inches.. not bad, but it does mess our road. We live on a 1/3 mile long dirt road.. private.. so we have to take care of it ourselves.. Our neighbor has a small tractor with a plow and he's been great keeping it open.. We give him gift cards to the local grocery store.. Hope thats fair..
Our house has been added on and changed around over the years, but never been consistantly heated.. part fuel oil, part electric... very expensive.. Read about geo-thermal heating and had a guy here today to see if thats an option.. Nope.. But he thinks maybe a newer kind of heat pump may help.. Mitsubishi makes something that wouldn't require tearing out walls, etc.. We'll see..
