Project Update

Hubby's winter project is painting our 55 year old veneer doors.. Would love to replace them, since our woodwork is already white, but that's an expense we don't need (new furnace was unfortunately a necessity!) So, plugging along with the painting.. its slow work painting in the garage because sometimes its too cold!! Posting pictures, I do think it looks better.. not like new, but better.. Many step process.. first clean well, primer, then 2 coats of Valspar really white.. got new hardware too, as we've had guests lock themselves in the bathroom.. Party time and nobody heard her yelling!! funny now :=)
Check-up on my knee this afternoon, then maybe movie wednesday... hope so.. Had arthroscopic surgery on it almost 2 years ago.. It was painful, but thought one scooping out and it'd be fixed.. not so easy, as I guess the next step is an artificial knee!! seriously??? Have no idea how that happened.. surely I'm not an athlete!! had cortisone shots.. didn't help.. just finished a series of shots made of chicken cartiledge!!... that's really helped.. When people get old, nobody talks about the knees going!! And everybody I know has knee pain!!

  1. Looks great! My brain was a bit muddled until I realized that the before and after wasn't of the same doors! It was like "Whoa! Something just isn't quite right!" Ha Ha!!

My MIL got trapped in the bathroom in their RV one year while we were vacationing. There we were tooling down the road and we hear this banging. I yell "You better stop that banging" thinking it was one of the kiddos about to get yelled at by daddy or pawpaw and realized that all the kids were accounted for! She's never been the same since!! Seriously! She has always been claustrophobic and she was really freaked out! She doesn't like to close the bathroom door in the RV anymore (and even sometimes when she's at home)!! And it's been over 10 years.

Hope the knee is doing well!

That's kinda freaky about your MIL.. I remember years ago we went thru the Carlsbad Caverns in Tn.. squeezing thru these tight little passages.. You couldn't pay me to do that now!!.. I'd run away screaming(even if i could still fit)
