Countdown to vacation

Suppose to get another round of snow over the weekend.. I posted a picture of our driveway last winter after the huge storm that crippled the northeast.. So looking forward to our winter vacation..  20 days till we leave for Mexico.. why did we pick Mexico?? A year ago our favorite (and only) daughter got married at a resort on the Riviera Maya, (the Iberostar Tucan) in Playa Del Carmen.. 30 miles south of Cancun..  What an awesome time we and 65 wonderful family and friends had!!  Many stories I'll share from that adventure.. Suffice it to say we had such a memorable vacation, we had to do it again. This time my hubby of 47 years and i will try it alone.. its kind of a combination of my 70th birthday and his 71st.. will it be as much fun??  Probably not, but this time we'll be on our own and doing all our favorite stuff :=)  sunning, swimming, beaching, eating, drinking, snorkeling, and more.. we're staying really close to playa, so a ride on the ferry to Cozumel is a must.. So, counting the days....
