Our latest project

Our house in the woods was built in 1954!! What an ugly time in American design.. We've lived here 35 years, moved in when the boys were 11 and 9, so you do the math.. they're getting old :=) Our doors are those plain wood laminate and show their wear and tear... To replace them and get new hardware would be over $3000.00.. So gonna try to paint them ourselves.. Told hubby this was his winter project and he's no handyman, so we'll see.. took the first door down and primed it yesterday.. this is gonna take all winter.  Going to Home Depot today to look at new hardware, will do progress reports on this project..
