Updates

This is torture.. Just waiting around till 4:30 for kick-off.. The Pens play at noon, so looks like a sports day!!
Our first painted door and new hardware project looks good enough that we're moving on to the second :=) We started in our old (55 yrs) main bath that was built before people had taste!! Picture a total ceramic tile room- including ceiling and floor!!! of gag green with barfy pink trim.. Indescribable!! So a white door doesn't do much to fix that mess.. We're thinking in the spring of getting a price to reglaze the tiles.. we'll see
About The Christmas party.. If the invite still stands, guess I'll go for a bit :=) Don't know how many people i'll know from my working days.. But back then, it was crazy!! The restaurant was closed, so it was just us, with bartender and food galore..There's such comraderie in the service industry.. Maybe because we all worked when everyone else played, but for me it was such an education in how hard they all work.. There was the time a couple of them filled my purse with fish tacos.. it smelled for months!! The best parties tho were Halloween.. What crazy costumes...
Wish the Steelers luck!! Think they'll need it..
