Finally found a weekend to visit our daughter(J) and son-in-law(A) in St Louis. Yea!! Does it sound like we're feeling house-bound?? Ha ha, we are.. We're going March 16th and staying the weekend.. My son(G) and daughter-in-law(T) come over and feed the dogs.. It's a trade for us watching our g-son.. Is that fair?? Hope so.. The only time they really got stung was our extended time in Paris.. It was tough cause nobody knew when or if we'd ever get home.. Fun for us, not so much for them!!
Thought the 17th, St Pats Day, I'd cook a corned beef dinner while J and A worked, then as J pointed out, its the first round of March Madness!! Can't believe I didn't have that on my calendar.. Looks like a basketball weekend.. Guess that's a guy thing:=)
Our last visit to their new house was Thanksgiving. That visit was a disaster as my husband brought his flu virus with him!! Everyday, another of us would drop.. it was awful.. We had worked so hard to plan Thanksgiving dinner, co-ordinated menus, grocery lists, and baking pies late into the evening. I fell first early Thanksgiving morning, only had a bit of jello all day, A fell the next day, and poor J made it till Sat night, before she too hit the wall.
So, know this trip will be more fun!!!
