A year or so ago, Pennsylvania OK'ed gambling.. I know some people get addicted, but most of us just go to have fun once in awhile :=) For Christmas, we gave each other a $12.50 coupon from Group-On for $25 worth of food and drink at the river-front casino Bar and Restaurant.. So, we're going downtown tonight to look at the flooded Alleghany River at the Point, have dinner, watch the hockey game on their 9' TV!!!, and play the slots for a bit :=) Hubby empties change every night into a pot and when we reach $100, it's time for the slots!!
Our last Casino trip was a complete success!! It was my 70th birthday.. right before Christmas, and we spent an overnight at the Sheraton Hotel on the river downtown.. a collaborative effort from all the kids.. Our son (J), who lives in Aspen, has a girlfriend who works for the St Regis chain of hotels.. so, they treated us to the room.. Our daughter, J and A, treated us to a special bottle of wine at dinner.. and the casino the next morning had free breakfast buffet for seniors!! Then my husband won enough at the slots to more than pay for dinner!!! That's the kind of weekend I love!!!
