Our furnace can't be fixed, so a new one is coming Thursday.. Going down to 8 degrees tonight.. Woodburner's hanging in there
So think I'll remember back to our day on Cozumel :=) Our resort was a short cab ride into town.. planned on catching the 11:00 ferry, but when we got to the pier, they were selling tickets for the 10:00.. So off we went. It's about a 45 minute ferry ride to the island.. Boat comes in right at the town square, so very picturesque. It was Sunday morning..we picked Sunday,as there are no cruise ships in town, so not at all crowded. After walking around the shops, we hailed a cab to our destination..The Money Bar!!! Found very good opinions of this place on tripadvisor.com. Sounded like what we wanted!! After our experience last year, we both wanted a snorkeling place close to shore. Last year, it was very choppy and we took a boat out that had both snorkelers and scuba divers!! They dropped about 5 of us and left, taking scuba divers some place else!! It was SO choppy, I thought we'd drowned and never see our daughter get married!!
The Money Bar was perfect.. Chaises under an umbrella, equipment rental, fresh-water showers, and best of all.. food and drink delivered to your chaise!! Bucket of 6 Coronas(on ice) for $10. Perfect!! Saw lots of fish and a huge eel and just a wonderful day!!
In my head, I'm back there again!!!
